Achieving Psychological wellbeing
Enhancing self-efficacy, self-confidence and self-esteem plays an important role in the promotion of psychological well-being. It helps to maintain a positive outlook of life and be optimistic about ones capabilities to deal with increasing life pressures. It preserves internal peace and psychological equilibrium Psychological well-being is essential for overall health and prosperity. There is no health without mental health.
Life skills contribute to our perceptions of self-efficacy, self-confidence and self-esteem. It plays an important role in the promotion of psychological well-being. The promotion of psychological well-being contributes to our motivation to look after ourselves and others along with the prevention of health and behaviour problems. It helps maintain a positive outlook of life and helps to be optimistic about ones capabilities to deal with increasing life pressures.
